Hi all,

17th May is just round the corner, in fact it’s only 2 weeks until Request Show. So what better way is there to spend a Sunday evening than by coming along to the fantastic surroundings of The Bedford’s Shakespeare Globe Theatre and hearing some of the best loved songs in the world performed by us, the Request Show crew?

The set list is taking shape and has been been the talking point of all us performers this week. On Monday Diane, Tim and Jen came over to mine and started working on…… well that would be foolish of me to tell, you’ll just have to wait ’til the 17th to find out! But we raised the roof as we worked on the songs, even got an excited text from my neighbours.

Live music, classic songs, passion and goodwill, these are the ingredients for our show and the performers you will hear have got this going on big time! It’s going to be a magical evening. Just to whet your appetite, Diane has sung her way round the globe with electro-maestro Moby and is seriously a world class voice not be missed, she effortlessly switches between high voltage diva to sweet soul singer! Then there’s the new kids on the block, The Stowaways, 4 young guys who are electric, energetic and oozing raw talent! I know such a diverse set of artists is going to produce some unforgettable moments.

Tickets are £15, drinks and excellent pub grub are available as well as a raffle! How much more fun could you hope to have on a Sunday night? And don’t forget all your money will be going to our 2 chosen charities!

I’d better get back to the piano and work on another of your requests. Phew!
